Aten

Asteroid 2062, diameter 0.8 km, discovered in 1976 by E. Helin. It is the prototype of the Aten group of Earth-approaching asteroids that have orbits lying mainly within that of the Earth. They have semimajor axes of less than 1 AU and aphelion distances greater than 0.938 AU.
